Yes, but I will add more tonight. Translation is a business
I am fast in.

It will be in the course of this week.

Fotoversand Brenner has them as B.I.G.-Flash, Hama has them,
and many others as well. They all come from WOC in Taiwan,
but they come in hundreds of different brand labels.

Wrong. It's on a subpage that I will integrate into the
main page, I think.

No, they fire as slaves if a primary flash or an IR trigger
flash is firing.

That's what you say now. But the day will come when only
setting up comsumes so much of the already half depleted
batteries that you don't get your shot. And it will not
always be just five shots you do.

A pain in the ass hurts an amateur as well.

In June this year I will host a big workshop and
will produce some imagery to back my statements then.
Or maybe earlier, if I find the time.
> Have you used the wireless multiflash E-TTL system?
No, the cable based Metz TTL system. But metering
applies to all systems alike, and the systematic
disadvantages of TTL metering apply to all systems
alike.

That's what marketing is trying to make you believe.
It is not. Both meter reflected light and both are
prone to misinterpretation of the metering results.
As much as matrix metering makes you subject to metering
lottery, E-TTL applies what the camera thinks you might
think and want.

When using a second (third, fourth) flash to separate
from the background or as a splash into dark corners,
you naturally flag off the remote flash in order not to
get straying light into your lens. This means you will
not be able to see the remote flash. In a studio setup
any flash you can see from your lens position is with
deadly precision ruining your setup.
A remote flash sitting in blackwrap flags or shielded with
black cardboard in order not to spill into the camera but
lighten just your subject will very often not fire.

They are not. You will see that later in the course of
this week.

No problem.

No, certainly not.

No need to spend so much money.
