Subject: Going prices for 600mm f/4 lenses and focus speed vs. IS version?
What is a good used price for a 600mm f/4 L USM lens? I was offered one for
$3750. Is this a good price?
I'm coming from a Nikon background where all the AFS lenses are expensive so
that's why I'm going Canon. I'd like to get the IS version, but probably
can't justify or afford the extra $5000 for one.
How does the focus speed of this older lens compare to the newer IS version
when used on the EOS 1-V?
