Hey all, I was wondering if there were any reports regarding the Elan 7
being used with infrared film. I know that it (like most EOS bodies) uses
an IR LED to count the film sprocket holes, so the manual indicates that
it's incompatible with IR film. But, I also know there are a lot of reports
that the LED only fogs around the edge of the film, and that the image area
itself is mostly unaffected.
I'd love to give IR a try, but I'm not interested enough to get a second
body for that purpose alone, so...anyone have any links, hints, ideas?
