I use the EOS30 / 7e. It behaves exactly as my old 50e / ElanIIe, i.e., the
sprocket holes gets completely fogged (exposed) but the image frame is left
alone.
I don't have any problem using Kodak Highspeed Infrared HEI in either 50e
or 30.
