Hi Gerard,
Fortunately, my flash will be used above the water line :-)
When the slave trigger's SCR latches on, the 550EX will not
respond to the test-fire switch. I have to cycle the power, or
detach the slave from the hotshoe.
Will setting any of the 550EX custom functions help?
Can the "E-TTL" slave setting be used as an ordinary optical
slave?
(Perhaps to put on the EX flash wishlist ... :-)
