I had to take my 20mm lens to Canon Canada for servicing (aperture motor
seems to be defective). I requested some information concerning that
particular lens. The technician promised that she would inquire about it
for me and let me know what she finds out. Mind you, since Canon never
seems to announce any lenses in advance before either: 1. it's
released; 2. there's a prototype available; it's doubtful that she will
actually be able to find anything.
I'm in the market for that particular lens, although an f/4 IS version
would also suit me... Since I got my 28-135IS and 300mm f/4IS combo, my
100-300mm hasn't seen action at all, and a 70-200 would really be welcome,
especially if I can fit it with a 1.4x TC! :)
