Hi Marc In ze ol days we'd say open it up and take a look ... probably the grease is sticking it close and it needs a little lighter fluid to free it. Today, when most of these are dry anyway... I guess you'll have to take it to a tech. and get it looked at. You are probably right about the drive failing. Hello List, I've been using my Cosina 100mm macro lens for a few years now. Since a week or two it seems to have an intermitted problem : when setting the aperture to f/22, the aperture stays that way, even after taking the picture. I have the impression that the motor, driving the aperture mechanism, is failing. I mean it closes the aperture but doesn't re-open it. (Even when I take the lens of the (50E) body the aperture stays 'closed') Did someone of the honorable list members had the same problem in the past ? If so what was the solution? Tnx for your advice Marc * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
