I get some rather annoying creaking/squeaking noises from elan 7e body when
a heavy lens (canon 28-70/2.8) is mounted. Since I got the lens last week, I
start to notice that the grip/body of elan 7e is a bit too small for my
hand - the pinky doesn't have anything to grip on. Maybe my hand puts too
much pressure on some parts of the camera grip that it starts making noises.
Does it happen to you too? I know many people complain some Canon bodies are
too plasticky. I just don't realize it could come to this.
Could BP-300 stop the noise? I was hoping that I could get a better grip on
the camera and kill the noise.
Also, I could feel that the weight of the lens causes it to move when you
tilt the camera (it's not loose or anything but not tight enough
apparently). I don't know what could happen to the electronic contact of the
lens if such things happen. Anyone has similar experience?
Does other bodies (eos 3, 1v,n,rs) have these two problems too?
Jansen.
