Hi all,

after much debate and cost-cutting I went out and picked up a 75-300 IS to
supplement my 28-105.

The reason I did this was because recently I had been longing for a better
reach, as several opportunities cropped up requiring lenses of around 200mm.
More specifically, however, next weekend sees the annual Hong Kong Rugby
Sevens, which I plan to take the IS to in order to get some close-up shots
of the action. Would anyone have any advice on how to take zoomed-in shots
with this lens, as I am definitely a novice with regards to long telephotos?
I guess I should use 800 film if I want to shoot sports at 300mm, right?
Thanks in advance.

Y-W

P.S. The EOS5 deal fell through, which means that the 75-300 looks rather
silly mounted on the comparatively tiny IX7 - but I'm still looking for a
low-priced 5, or maybe an EOS30.
