Well, yes, it does display tenths of the aperture value, but these are
annoyingly displayed as 8.0 8 for instance, indicating f/8 and 8/10ths
of a stop additionally. I would much rather they displayed it as f/10
or even f/10.3 or something so it was closer to the way cameras display
aperture.

But the real problem is that the time value is only displayed in whole
or half stops, so when you scroll through the combos the exposure always
jumps by half stops in time and aperture. Needless to say, half time
values don't mesh well with 1/3 values on the camera. I now keep mine
in full stops for time display and usually keep it set to the ev scale
for checking lighting ratios. That way I don't have to wonder if I
bumped the control wheel.

All in all, it would be easier if it would display 1/3 values for time
and aperture, but at minimum, 1/3 time values with the tenths notation
for aperture.

Mike,

Having something like F9.5 instead of F8.0 5 would just confuse many
who do nmot know what the 1/3 and 1/2 stop setting actually are.
Also, older camera simply have full stops and other 1/2 stop detents
between the stops. So having something like F8.0 5 says use the
detent between F8 and F11. It Keeps it Simple!
