Hi Folks, I'm back again after a not insignificant layoff from the list.....

I've finally bitten the bullet and bought a 3 - but it's underexposing
between 2/3 and a whole stop.

I'm told this is a common problem and that it is to be expected that new
ones are like this(!)

What is the procedure for returning it to Canon, do you get a courtesy
camera?

I ask because I need the thing daily right now and would rather manage for a
few weeks with it dialled out on the exposure compensation before getting it
fixed - but I'm not sure how EC works with the 550EX on.......do I need to
set the compensation on the 'gun or not? The Manual I found as clear as mud,
I have to admit....

I'm in the UK; anyone got any experiences/suggestions for me?

Many thanks, good to b back!

Tom Jones.
