Hi folks,
For all of you who like rumours, I found some "news" on a German
magazine called NaturFoto.
They speak of a 2.8/70-200 L IS DO USM with a weight less than 1kg
and an estimated price of 2.500 USD. Also, they want to know about a
4.0/200-600 L IS DO USM which should be already in the construction
phase. Estimated weight 4-5kg, price 15.000 USD+.
Both lenses shall be available next year (let´s hope so!).
They also have some news about the 4.0/400 DO IS USM. Meanwhile
experts talk about an average price of ~7.500 USD.
And some bad news as well: the 1.8/200 USM will no longer be
produced.
