Hello Neil,

Testing the settings before flashing could be a problem. And if
you flash the wrong chip there is maybe a point of no return. One
reason for the lack of interest may be the price of equipment they
apply the patches on. An EOS 1V is not something you buy for testing
any hacker skills :-)
