Forgive the ramble, but I just sent off checks for the first major
expansion of my "kit" since I got the default 28-90 and 75-300 from
the insurance company back in December. Whoa, talk about an
anxiety-producing decision! I decided to get a mint used Tamron
20-40, and since I felt I wanted a better, more versatile "basic"
lens, I bought an EF 28-135 IS. THEN the voices began! ;-) " Ya
shoulda saved for an L lens, ya oughta go for primes, ya shoulda
bought a handheld meter, it's not fa-a-ast enough, ya shoulda bought
a slide scanner, yadda yadda." Oh well, there's always another month,
and another bank robbery! The next addition will be the
much-discussed "bird lens," but I'm still on the fence and in the red
on that one, if I can mix metaphors.

So now we wait for the main with the funny box that I write my name
on.

Thanx for listening. Whew.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

I know that feeling... my stocks that were supposed to
go to universety, is right now in my kamera bag, in a 28-70 2.8L lens and a
70-200 2.8 L and 2.0x converter =(
Along with the Eos 1, 5 and 540 flash =((((

Hate that feeling "o, if i get that one, my pictures will improve" well they
did, but now i HAVE to start work as a
photographer ;)
