Then in that case, forget it. People will always talk up what they own.
Go for the 100-400, with a 1.4x you get a capable 560mm F8 that you can
use handheld. Can't say that about 70-200 as no matter what its a
140-400mm F5.6 with 2x, unless of course you stack the TCs. Then you'll
need a tripod!! ;-)
