With all of the autorewind bodies I've owned, it hasn't been neccessary to note
the length of the rewind sound - if they rewind all the way, there is a higher-
pitched sound for a moment after the film is fully wound into the canister,
since the moter is more lightly loaded.  If you hear that sound, you know it's
fully rewound.  I had a Pentax body once that often failed to rewind all the
way, so I became acutely attuned to that sound!
