Probably not. You can find out easily enough; just meter your on-camera
flash alone and compare it to the exposure you get from the studio strobes.
If it's better than 5 stops down, you won't see it. You may want to add some
diffusion to the on-camera flash to reduce its power even further. Check to
make sure that it will fire the studio strobes.

Hot lights (unless they're HMIs or are heavily gelled) will make your white
background go a heavy amber or yellow. You can correct them with a blue gel
(Rosco Cinegel 3202, Full Blue-CTB or equivalent), but you'll lose 1 1/2
stops of light output. You'll need a LOT of hot light, and it'll get really
hot!
If you only have 2 studio strobes, you may want to think about using one as
a background light and one on the subject, using a large light reflector of
some sort for fill (a 4X8 sheet of foamcore would probably do the job).
Also, If you have a soft box or any form of diffusion for the main light,
use it.
