Some of you guys who are unhappy with OE might consider trying Forte
Agent. I use it and like it a lot, many many user specified
preferences. It's also an excellent newsreader.
In regards to the issue under discussion here, all you do is
highlight the part of a message you want to refer to, hit reply, and
that's the only part that gets quoted. A cinch, as we used to say.
