thanks a lot for your kind reply and the links. Unfortunately, the
circles of the Ec-D screen do not seem to relate to the (size of the)
center (spot) metering field in the EOS3. A dedicated EOS3 gridscreen
with appropriate marks and the new brighter design would be nice...

Anybody tried the Beattie split image/grid screen in an EOS3?
