I would like to see the LCD screen protected from rain,
dirt, nose grease and impact by some kind of cap or roll-
over thingie.

And of course,  I could always use higher resolution and
more internal buffer memory.  Still,  not too bad.  In a
head-to-head test,  the D30 is faster than the the Olympus
(E10 I think).  I can keep shooting while my buddy (with
the Olympus) seem to have to wait for files to download
frequently.

I already saved close to $1000 just in material by shooting
digital instead of slides.  I just regret that I didn't buy
it earlier.  I could have saved another $1000 to $2000 in
film since January.

I'm used to the EC AF of the Elan,  so the D30 AF is a step
down for me.  I get a soft photograph every once in a while
with the D30.
