    And of course the new flashes all do TTL on all EOS bodies. I use a
380EX on and old EOS 10 with excellent results. I bought this flash thinking
I'd upgrade my body and take advantage of E-TTL, but since reading about it,
and seeing my results with TTL, I'm convinced E-TTL is not necessary. And
from what I've read, A-TTL is also not necessary.
    I look at my photos and I think - how might E-TTL have helped me here -
well since the results are good, I can't see what benefits it might have
given me. Now if you like to use slides, E-TTL might make a big difference.
On the few rolls of slides I've done with TTL only, I've also been very
pleased I might add. You have flash compensation that will help you manually
get the flash results you want using TTL.
