Hi Gang,

Doesn't the A2E (and the EOS 10S) have a crippled implementation of
the EZ flash protocol?

Features that might work:
1) Auto zoom
2) TTL flash quenching
3) A-TTL auto aperture

Features that do not work:
4) Flash exposure warning
5) AF assist beam

If this is the case, could an upgradable third party flash (e.g.
Metz Mecablitz) or a cheap auto-zoom flash, that can provide
#1, #2, #4 be better value than the Canon?
