Couldn't agree more. All there is, is "different" bokeh. Sometimes
a smooth rendition is "good", sometimes it's "bad". Overall, a smooth
rendition will help the image in a higher percentage of images. Still,
if you are mainly taking a style of pictures that would be helped by
a not so smooth rendition of out of focus highlights, the supposedly
"good" bokeh may actually be bad for you.
