I own a russian 1000/10 maksutov which great for full-frame
moon and sun photographs at 2000mm (with the 2x TC). No AF,
but mounted and a tripod and properly focused, it is
pretty darn tough to beat. It is a lot of focal length is
a very small package.
A bit slow for wildlife, though.
