I've had my 7E for about 6 months now and love it.
FYI: If you want to extend the remote, just get a **stereo** extension cord from
Radio Shack. You can use them to lengthen the remote's reach to whatever you
need. Works great.
p.s. and that d**n plug is hard to get out by us nailbiters :-)
