I just wanted to follow up on this. My BP-300 arrived and I
installed it to my Elan 7. It's much better fitted to the camera
body than the BP-200 is to the Rebel 2000. There's significantly
less play--it's awesome! I'm very happey with it. I wish there
was a dial, but everyone is singing that tune...so anyway...go
get one. it's good.
