I think cameras are worse. I can play the piano in ANY place I go that has
one, and when I get together with my neighbors the other guys with guitars
and I trade back and forth regularly. Hand me a Contax G2, and I am
bewildered. :-)

OTOH, back in the old days, a Nikkormat, Pentax K1000, Minolta SRT 101 all
had about the same stuff in about the same place. Think of cars -- you can
jump from a Honda Accord to a Toyota Camry and be 95% okay in under 15
minutes, but the owner's manual for a Nikon F5 is longer than for an Acura
TL, and Magic Lantern doesn't sell an aftermarket Acura book, do they? <s>
