That's interesting.  It does not happen to my 28-105 though it does occur to
my bigger lens like 300f4/L and 200f2.8/L.  So far, I haven't experienced
any problem in terms of sharpness or any other sort.  I don't have this
problem with smaller lens like 24 f2.8, 20-35f3.5 or even 85f1.8.  The
bodies that I'm using are EOS 50e and 5.  I suspect one reason could be the
weight and the other reason could be attributed to the different production
period whereby the mount could be off by a bit causing this problem.

Anyone have any other comments?
