I have just shot my first roll with the EOS 3 and 100-400 and was just
wondering about the following:
According to the manual it will only focus on a f5.6 lens with the 6 centre
AF points. Why then are the other points activated during focussing - it
even seems that I can actually focus using one of the other points - or am I
missing something here?

Thanks
Herman
