I have used a Velbon macro slider for years with my EF180L macro, (as well
with a 90mm Tamron and EF50mm macro)
The rail provides two axis of movement. 65 mm front to back and 20mm side
to side. (the side to side is nice touch)
I see that B&H still has them on special for $89.95 as of their June 2001
catalog on page 15 part number VEMSQ
