Hi Craig,

You reminded me of another loss that I lament, having moved from
an EOS 1000FN to the Elan 7E.

On the 1000FN, setting a Tv value would be carried over the M
mode. And a value set in Av could be retrieved in M mode.
Locking an exposure could be as simple and natural as:
1) Turn to Av, set the aperture
2) Turn to Tv, set the shutter speed
3) Turn to M, to use the aperture and shutter speed from 1 and 2

Not so on the Elan 7E. Tv and Av has their own memory, separate
from M mode. It is as if I have three cameras and have to set
each on them every time I change mode.

No wonder M mode on the Elan 7E is a chore :-(

Cheers
Julian Loke
