Welcome to the List. The EOS 630 is a great camera, iff...
a) the LCD displays have not outlived their 5 year lifespan
b) the EL backlight is not shorting out and kills batteries
c) you can locate a GR-20 grip so you can use remote shutter release
d) you want to shake Image Stabilizer Lenses to bits
e) you do not want to use a off-camera shoe cord for auto flash
f) the shutter has not gummed up by melting rubber/foam
g) you can remember the numeric program codes
h) a popup flash is not useful to you
i) you do not need a built-in lamp for autofocus assist in low light
j) your subjects have lots of vertical detail for the AF sensors
k) the palm door covering the custom buttons is still intact
So, other than a few minor points, the EOS 630 has no inherent weak
points and is very reliable.
