Hi Ken, I own the Tamron 1.4x TC (4 element) and the Tamron 2x TC (7 element), the original versions, not the newer "Pro" versions. The old 2x is virtually unusable (hence uggg), but the 1.4x is quite good. The newer 2x design is supposed to be better. Has anyone directly compared the Canon 2x, the Tamron 2x and the Kenko Pro 2x ?
