  Well. This isn't quite the same thing, but here's a photo taken 
using a 20mm 2.8 that shows significant depth of field.

I don't remember offhand what I used for the aperture setting, but it 
was something pretty high in order to get the sky almost in focus. 
Since it was a quick offhand snapshot I just used my Elan's built-in 
flash for fill, hence the flash overexposure and the shadow at the 
bottom. But nonetheless I think it's an interesting effect. I think 
the end of the lens was less than a foot away from Simon's hand - he 
was wondering why the heck I was shoving the camera practically up 
his nose. :)

  Sadly, that was one of the lenses that got ripped off last week. 
Sigh. I was really pleased with the results from that lens...
