I've been noticing lately that when I bracket my shots with the 3, the one
that is +1 stop almost ALWAYS turns out better. I've read through archives
here and keep coming across the issue of the EOS 3 being known to have
under-exposure problems. I do have the focusing screen Ec-H installed, but
CF1 is set to compensate for that.

is there any good way to test and see if my camera is indeed getting a
correct meter reading off a scene? should I compare with another camera
with the same lens against a gray card, or is there some other method with
more consistent results?

TIA
