Hi!
After reading your post I decided to look inside my soligor 2 x TC as well,
and I found inside there exactly what you described. 28-pin chip with SANYO
LC 21005 markings and a smaller chip with unreadable markings. Also two
fields with two contacts and 1.4x markings next to them. My TC is that grey
"AF-Telekonverter 2x PRO f�r Canon", take a look at www.soligor.de
I did'nt try to short those 1.4x contacts as I do'nt have any canon L teles,
so no use for me at the time, but it's good to know that it can be tweaked
when needed.
