Your right, mine have the rectangle heads. I have the same head on my
Manfrotto monopod and Manfrotto 190 tripod. I just can't remember the
number to the heads right now and there not here. I'll let you all know
what they are if your interested. I'm very happy with these ball heads with
quick release.
