I'd appreciate a couple of opinions from owners/users of the EF 24-85 USM.
I checked the List archives and found the lens was mentioned numerous times,
but comments surrounding those were not all that helpful, i.e., "I wish it
was wider", "I wish it was longer", "I wish it had a different filter size",
ad infinitum.
I also found some references to the lens having a marginal build quality,
but OTOH, that it was sharp and optically pretty darn good. And if I could
get someone to offer an educated guess, I know what a new one costs, but
what do you think a good pre-owned one should sell for?
