One thing regarding digital projectors that no one has mentioned, color!
I use these things quite a bit, and some pretty expensive ones. The one
I use the most is an In-Focus 430Z, it's quite bright, supports at least
1024x768 and uses the Texas Instruments DLT rather than an LCD (makes it
brighter). All of this being said, there are some colors that the thing
just doesn't produce very well. I am even able to build a custom ICC
profile for it which definitely improves the color, but it no where as
good as the color you get from a CRT monitor!!
