Hi groups,
I took pictures on some kids playing (American)-football today. I used AI
Focus to capture the players when they are standing still or moving. In your
opinion, what would be the best autofocus mode for such sport?
Today, I don't really know why I should select AI Focus over AI Servo, or
vice versa. All I know is that football involves still and moving objects,
hence I selected AI Focus.
What about this:
AI Focus is better for object that is still at first, then moves
backward/forward toward the camera at a constant rate. So, AI Servo is
better for object that moves randomly at random rates.
.... is this a better explanation?
Also, to capture a player who was about to catch a ball, which focusing
point should I use? Since there were other players (some were closer to me)
around that particular player, automatic focusing could not be used. So, I
selected the center focusing point. I think AI Servo is best to use with the
center focusing point, isn't it?
Any help is appreciated.
