Gerry,
Are you using slides or prints? I often find the slide mount will cut a
little tighter than I would like. It is a danger of the 100% viewfinder (I
know the EOS 3 is not 100%). Prints, on the other hand, will often be
printed to a standard 8 by 10 ratio that cuts off some of the sides (or top
in vertical compositions). With either case, you may have to adjust your
framing. Though we're all schooled to "fill the frame" with the subject, it
can leave you short.
Cheers, JD

Subject: Help: cutting top of pics with EOS3
I wonder if I'm the only one with this problem? Often, although I think I'm
framing carefully with my EOS3, at times I find I've taken too much off the
top. I've used the Elan IIe, Nikon F3, F2a and FTN in the past and never had
this problem. Is it my eyes or the relief on the EOS3? Since it isn't a 100%
viewfinder you would think it's even less likely to occur. Any thoughts?
Gerry
