I recently had a bad experience with a client where the shot I took of a
race car and driver "fill the frame", I had mentioned to the driver "8x10"
prints will be delivered to him.

He was (rightfully) furious when I delivered 8x12 prints as he already
purchased 8x10 frames for these photos for the sponsors, he demanded I make
8x10 prints which required me to scan the image and PhotoShop to 8x10 and
than digitally print them at a local photo outfit. So I had to print these
images twice, plus the additional PhotoShop time, I barely broke even, the
only positive part is that he looks slimer by about 10% now on the final
prints.

Lesson leared:

1. Be specific, I had always interchangeably used 8x10 and 8x12, not
anymore

2. Most people do like 8x10

3. 8x12 frames aren't as easy to come by, although I am at a loss to why?

Regards,

Ken
