Hi Henry,
With Canon's E-TTL, to use FP flash means setting HS (High Speed)
for flash SYNC, setting the shutter speed and blasting away,
letting the meter take care of exposure, much like automatic
flash.
I've read unconfirmed reports that the Nikon implementation of
FP flash has fixed power output (i.e. manual flash needing
a complicated variable-Guide-Number table). And maybe that
it is only available on some higher end bodies.
Could this be true?
Is Nikon FP better than the Canon HS E-TTL?
Cheers
