Here in Japan, Canon's new 4000dpi filmscanner has been out for several
months, and with an excellent price of 85,000 yen. That's about 750 U.S.
I've got my eye on it, but just bought a motorcycle, so might have to wait a
few months. What I like about it, is it comes in SCSI 2 hookup, not firewire
or USB. Might be available also in USB though, the SCSI is what I'd want.
