Hello,
I am using an Canon EOS I V HS and I have been shooting mainly negative film
up until now. However, I would like to start shooting more slide film.
My problem is this. If I have the slides mounted (which would be much better
for me in order to organize individual frames according to subject) I assume
that the photo lab may just chop off and throw out the film roll
identification number printed at the beginning of each roll. (Developing
them myself is not an option here.) That could be a real mess if I have
several rolls developed at the same time.
As long as I know which roll is which after processing, I should be able
label each mounted slide with the exposure and location details as I am
using the EOS Link Software (ES-E1).
Has anyone had trouble losing the film roll identification numbers when
ordering mounted slides or am I just worrying needlessly?
Also does anyone have any recommendations for organizing slides effectively?
Thanks in advance.
