Some photographers feel that Velvia's true speed to be at ISO 40 (but of course Fuji
rated
it at ISO 50 on the box). Photographers (incluing myself) rate Velvia at ISO 40
(sometimes
even ISO32) for better saturation, not for more saturation.
At ISO 32, the shutter speeds even on fair weather is often too slow (especially with
Canon's metering which favours under-exposure) for comfort, hence I seldom touch Velvia
(VELVet medIA).
