c.p. vanentine questioned if I had taken my test
images with the IS off, That is correct, I was trying
to compare the lens under identical conditions, no
filters, same body, same tripod, no IS. Lens were
manually focused. Mirror lock-up was used on the 1v
body.
The only IS shots were the last few indicated as hand
held at low shutter speed.
