Ahem, well, my EF 75-300 focuses close enough for portraits
for sure. In fact it will go down to a postcard size, surely enough to
fill a frame with a head? Or are you saying you need to be closer than
5 feet?
For what it's worth, I use my EF 35-135 for head and shoulder
type of shots.
