I've been doing more 'close-up' pictures with my 28-70 f2.8L and have started thinking about getting a Canon close up lens to allow me to get closer. B&H explains the following: "The 250D is suited for lenses with a focal length anywhere from 30 to 135mm. The 500D and 500 are geared for lenses with a focal length anywhere from 70 to 300mm. "
Unfortunately the 250D isn't available in a 77mm size. Has anyone here used either the 250D or 500D? Will the 500D work with my lens? Are there good third part alternatives?
