I would have never thought that this wouldd have started such an
active "discussion". Thank you all for your help/advice. Its a project I'm
thinking about - shooting aerial shots of land marks and landscapes here in
Jamaica.
Well my cousin will be doing most of the shooting with a Elan II from either
a small Cesna or bubble helicopter. I'm thinking of getting the 75-300IS
although the relative low 2.9 photodo rating has me bugged. I'm going by a
friend's today to take a look at the Canon lens works II book. Eventually I
may replace my 28-105mm USM with the nearest IS equivalent.
Oh and one more thing is US$700 a good price for a 300mm L USM lens second
hand EX condition gone through less than 100 rolls?
